Halloween. My son's various school sports. Gardening and cooking. All my many pets:
CrunchBerry, my horse.
my new horse, Dill. welcome to my family!
Pit Bulls: Minerva, Bela Trix, Blaze and Vinnie.
Chihuahua's: Happy and Blondie.
'Cheener': KoKo,
cat: Buddha
and my oldest pet, cockatiel Howie.
As you scroll down, you'll find my music player. On it you'll notice one song that seems out of place. This song; The Dance by Garth Brooks, is dedicated to my beloved horse, Dusty. R.I.P. until we meet again, old friend.
And the great beast laid his head upon my lap, his breathing finally quieted, his eyes at last restful. His spirit touched my face and I felt his gratitude that I could help make this crossing easier.
While I am wrapped in the loss of my friend, I am also strengthened that even at the last, there was some purpose I could serve. It was nothing more than to be there. To whisper that quiet goodbye.
It was, in the end, all I could do. All I could offer.
It was enough.

Scary movies
The background pic on my profile is Myrtle Hill Cemetery here in Rome, Georgia. This is where the graveyard scenes from Dance of the Dead were filmed. Danny, Josh and I go here often for inspiration.
As you can probably tell from my music player, the movies Kill Bill Volumes 1 and 2 are special to me. The storyline: a Betrayal and Victory over those Evil Doers is one I take to heart.
R.I.P. David Carradine

Please, no one be offended... I will no longer choose top friends except for my wonderful husband, Danny and son, Josh as well as my 2 trail partners, Audrey and Russell.
I respect all good haunters, and good people. I have ZERO respect for backstabbers and their pawns, who slink around trying to cause problems for decent people crybabies. mosquito bites. poison oak. people who drive too fast on my private road! and last but certainly not least: people who abuse and neglect their animals

I help with a haunted trail here in Rome. I have always been a Halloween nut, even when I was very young! We used to make a 'haunted living room' when we were young kids, complete with haunted walking shoes and howling werewolves on an old tape recorder.
A memorable moment in my childhood (and probably yours, too) was when Michael Jackson's THRILLER video premiered on MTV. I was transfixed by the graveyard and the zombies. What a source of inspiration that was to a young, Halloween-loving kid.
RIP Michael Jackson
