I have had a super great haunting opportunity coming my way this Halloween! Through a dear friend of mine I may be getting the chance to help trick out and haunt a REAL haunted restaraunt here in the Twin Cities! The event will be a full Masquerade Ball on Halloween night! I will post more as I fingd out more and as the design and projects get underway and completed. I have added a link here to an article about the place too, otherwise you can google Forepaugh's Restaurant in St. Paul, MN.

Sorry for the absence fellow haunters. Damned real life went and got in the way of my cyber stuff. I expect to be on more oftne now that htings are settling down here a bit.
Wow, not even out of November and I know of 2 props that I want to build for next year.
A Leering Blucky like the ones circulating in the Mad Labs group would be perfect for my cemetery.
I want to cocoon another blucky for my spider web area, and maybe add a pneumatic spider. I need a grave jumper or pop up of some kind too. Wow am I going to be busy this year.

Only 358 days until Halloween 2009! I feel like I am already behind schedule! Must get designing and building!
I know, 2 in one day right?
Anyways. I am sitting here waiting my first vict...er guest for tricks and treats. I am all done up in my werewolf best: Red Flannel shirt? Check. Fangs? Check. Make up done well AND in record time? Ceckx2! Then I was hit by a powerful thought. All of you are doing the exact same thing I am ...RIGHT NOW! 1,000's of you are sitting and waiting right now to scare the first kid, get that first knock, hand out that first Smartee candy....wow! It's like we are all spending this holiday together, except, you know, we're separate. Ok, I am done now. Enjoy the night! Happy Halloween!

What is the portion of my profile marked "My Rating 0.00" How do we get a rating score? Do I want a rating score? Does it make me a better Hauntspace member if I have a rating score?
Raven hair and ruby lips Sparks fly from her finger tips Echoed voices in the night She’s a restless spirit on an endless flight
Wooo hooo witchy woman, see how High she flies Woo hoo witchy woman she got The moon in her eye
She held me spellbound in the night Dancing shadows and firelight Crazy laughter in another Room and she drove herself to madness With a silver spoon
Woo hoo witchy woman see how high she flies Woo hoo witchy woman she got the moon in her eye
Well I know you want a lover, Let me tell your brother, she’s been sleeping In the devil’s bed. And there’s some rumors going round Someone’s underground She can rock you in the nighttime ’til your skin turns red
Woo hoo witchy woman See how high she flies Woo hoo witchy woman She got the moon in her eye
And another classic from the same band...
On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim I had to stop for the night There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell And I was thinking to myself, ’this could be heaven or this could be hell’ Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way There were voices down the corridor, I thought I heard them say...
Welcome to the hotel california Such a lovely place Such a lovely face Plenty of room at the hotel california Any time of year, you can find it here
Her mind is tiffany-twisted, she got the mercedes bends She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys, that she calls friends How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat. Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
So I called up the captain, ’please bring me my wine’ He said, ’we haven’t had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine’ And still those voices are calling from far away, Wake you up in the middle of the night Just to hear them say...
Welcome to the hotel california Such a lovely place Such a lovely face They livin’ it up at the hotel california What a nice surprise, bring your alibis
Mirrors on the ceiling, The pink champagne on ice And she said ’we are all just prisoners here, of our own device’ And in the master’s chambers, They gathered for the feast The stab it with their steely knives, But they just can’t kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was Running for the door I had to find the passage back To the place I was before ’relax,’ said the night man, We are programmed to receive. You can checkout any time you like, But you can never leave!
You know I have to add another song here...I just have to! On this one, I really prefer the Limp Bizkit version from the Gothika Soundtrack. Very Creepy sounding.
No one knows what its like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes
No one knows what its like To be hated To be fated To telling only lies
But my dreams They arent as empty As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance Thats never free
No one knows what its like To feel these feelings Like I do And I blame you
No one bites back as hard On their anger None of my pain and woe Can show through
But my dreams They arent as empty As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance Thats never free
When my fist clenches, crack it open Before I use it and lose my cool When I smile, tell me some bad news Before I laugh and act like a fool
If I swallow anything evil Put your finger down my throat If I shiver, please give me a blanket Keep me warm, let me wear your coat
No one knows what its like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes
Bela Lugosi's Dead White on white translucent black capes Back on the rack Bela Lugosi's dead The bats have left the bell tower The victims have been bled Red velvet lines the black box Bela Lugosi's dead Undead undead undead The virginal brides file past his tomb Strewn with time's dead flowers Bereft in deathly bloom Alone in a darkened room The count Bela Logosi's dead Undead undead undead
