Last year, we spend a lot of money on "CreepThru," and didn't make any profit. I've been discussing the idea of an admission fee to walk through our haunt this year, but my conscience keeps saying "NO!" However, I do want to make some kind of profit off of what we do. So now the question remains, How much do I charge? Let's say we put close to $500 in this year [I came into a huge ammount of free wood for building, which cuts down on costs], would I be better off charging $0.50 or $1.00?
The other idea was that we get a custom-made stamp that had CreepShow's logo on it and stamping all of the people that came after they paid, this way they could go in without having to pay over and over, people who didn't pay wouldn't be able to sneak in, and we could keep track on how many people came.
I'm just really stuck on the price of entrance, so if the haunt pros could help me out a bit, I'd really appreciate it.
