I have two not so scary palm trees in my yard any suggestions on how to make them creepy. They are in a good area near the house one on each side of the front window. There will be a scarecrow in between them looking down on the front lawn cemetary. any suggestions?
Does anyone remeber creature features? of course i'm dating myself, but growing up in the 70's and 80's in the San Francisco bay area we had a show called Creature Features the host was Bob Wilkins it was the best. Night Of the living dead made it's television debut on that show. I was just a kid but I will tell you what that show had all the great creepy black and white monster movies and some si-fy stuff also, it was from there i devoloped a passion for scary movies and it just added fuel to my halloween spirit. I wish there was something like that now. There is a comedy channel how about a haunted channel.
So here's the deal, I moved to a new neighborhood a few months ago. and brought my halloween passion with me. Well I have been building Corpses in my garage with the door open and bringing out the freshly dead for a fresh coat of poly urathane here and there. The neighborhood has been gathering together and I see them looking my way, wispering, probably wondering why I have skeletons and fresh rotting dead things strewn about. Well that was what i thought anyway. So one day my next door neighbor is out front and they have real little ones so I decided to give warning that I was going to have a graveyard with my different creations and a few zombies roaming around. she said oh awesome, you know, she pointed directly across the street they do a wonderful halloween haunt and cars drive by all night long just to see thier yard. So now I'm conflicted I love that my little corner of the world is really into Halloween but I feel I need to out-shine, it's my competitive nature I guess. Thanks for letting me vent.

I was beating my head against the wall, should I have a cemetery fence ,should I not, what kind should I make, oh man I dont have money, so I saw an add for a wood pallet company that breaks the pallets down and they give away the scraps I drive to the address in san diego and there are bins and bins full of pallet boards with all the nails taken out for free. Hey it works for me and my non-existant budget so if you need some very cheap wood for whatever your building check your local pallet place it just might pay off.
