So I had so much luck with the lower half, I actually thought I knew what I was doing. Yeah, maybe next time I'll pvc the joints. He can't stand up under his own weight, so he'll be a hanging prop until I can figure how to stiffen his knees and hips.
There's tin foil in the skull, and I'll be hiding a little red light in there. I did not sercure the torso to the pvc pipe that makes up the spine, giving him the ablity to move alittle. The hands are just floral wire, pool noodle and masking tape. As soon as the weather dries up some, he'll get latex. Then I'll add wings. I 'm not entirely sure how I'll make the wings, but planning is for people with no sense of adventure.

So, I've spent the better part of a year reading up on differant techniques for turning a plain, if not anatomically incorrect blucky into a corpse, devil, demon, what have you, and yet I *still* think I can do it.
Cause I'm funny that way.
So I decided on 2 demons for the proch roof. One near the edge, crouching and reaching down, the other standing behind the satelite dish. Kind of peeking over it.
I'm doing a combination, panty hose/paper towel latex corpsing.
And of course, I forgot to take any pictures. Remember, I said I was funny.
But I have another to go, so maybe I'll remeber the camera. Anyway.......
I cut the feet off an inch or so from the heals, then used 5 pieces if heavy floral wire about 10-12 inches long and fixed them in place with duct tape making the taped end thick enough to be relatively secure in the hollow of the heal.
Then using quilting batting and masking tape, I built up the individual toes just enough for the paper mache to have something to stick to.
At this point, BEFORE the taped toes where permanently attached to the heal, I poked a hole threw the duct tape at the back end of the toes and threaded a piece of wire threw. This wire would go threw the plastic heal, and the end of this wire will be fed threw two holes made in the lower joint of the calf bone, one made by the removal of that nub that would have gone in the heal, and another smaller one poked out the back of the same joint. The wire can then be twisted over itself, taped down and mached over.
Once the wire is in place threw the tape and heal, I simply pulled the wire to get a snug fit with the taped toes and used stips of paper mache, (water, corn starch , white glue), to secure them in place.
I then used the bagged paper mache pulp you can buy at hobby lobby and defined the feet. Now because it's crouching, the toes are bent and the heals are up off the ground.
I then cut the lower leg bones in half and added about 16 inches of pvc. 3/4 inch I think. Have you noticed? Measurments and I are strangers.
I hot glued the bone ends in place and then glued some of the batting on to the new bone. I then slid a knee high stocking over the whole thing and stuffed just enough batting into the knee high to make the calf look slightly muscular.
I then had to go back to the wire in order to attach the calf to the thigh bone which also had to be lenghtened in order for the hips to sit correctly.
I had to carve out a litte of the hip joint in order for the top of the thigh bone to seat correctly, and this is where a hot glue gun comes in handy.
So now I have the unfinished lower half of a big footed corpse in the living room.
Once agian, cause I'm funny that way.
