OHHH!! Now I get it!! That is really cool!! You did a fabulous job painting them!! They really look like a piece of printed cloth draped over the boards! Please excuse my blindness as to what these were. I live up north so we Yankees are not familiar with palm fronds. LOL!!
Actually, I can only cop to painting #2 and #5. I'm not much of an artist. But the tiki idea is dead on, because #1 #3 and #6 were painted by a friend that is a tatoo artist with a weird facination for tiki. So, somehow, most of his stuff has a tiki slant to it !
