You prolly do have a camera that does that. My camera is el cheapo Casio Exilim digital with a very small, fixed lens. I put the settings for the pictures on 'fine' and the biggest at 1200x1600, for the greatest detail. Then, I kept snapping every time there was lightning. If you study the 'how' of it, you'll discover that lightning isn't instant, but tends to spend about a second or two traveling around and branching out. It's during that brief (but not instant) moment that I kept my finger on the trigger. After about 30 shots, I found that this one came out best. The great thing about digital is that you can download the good photos and delete the failures. Thanks for the kinds words, from you and from everyone else!!
